Blackberry used to be one of the biggest mobile manufacturers but the smartphone era has not born good results for this multi-national company.
They are developing a new complex software that can run the high-end computing systems present in modern day cars. It looks like the mobile phone giant is going to rule in the mobile vehicles now.
Officially, Blackberry directors have not disclosed the names of the Autocar manufacturers who are interested in the new technology of the company. Although, John Wall, a senior executive at Blackberry has given us hints by saying that there are a number of car companies which are helping and investing in the development of their software.

Blackberry claims that this application can isolate many systems to work up on just one piece of silicon, this way, it can isolate the main functions which are open to wireless networks. To understand this concept easily, Blackberry explained it by an example, imagine a house and a thief entering inside of a room. Now even if the thief gets inside of the room, the entry of door gets locked, trapping him inside the room. If he enters the hallway, he will not be able to get into other rooms.
A hardware multi-national company Qualcomm, has made a new processor named Snapdragon 820m. This processor is fully compatible with automotive.
