Microsoft has revised Xbox One’s price down to $249, which is a great news for gamers who couldn’t afford it previously. The subsidized rate has come forward as the launch of Xbox One S is nearing; due to be released on August 2, 2016.
The 500GB Xbox One is now available at $249, but the lowered price doesn’t mean any less. On the purchase, you also get game bundles with some of the biggest titles including Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Quantum Break, Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Rare Replay.
The new prices have been updated on online stores including Best Buy and Amazon. Microsoft’s statement that “while supplies last” also indicates that only limited stock of 500GB Xbox One consoles are available and if you don’t want to lose this opportunity, now is the perfect time.
Apart from the latest S versions release, the new pricing is partially also influenced by the fact that the price difference between Sony PlayStation 4 was also making it hard for the console on its sales sheet. On the other hand, smart pricing of PS 4 has successfully enticed over 40M gamers to buy it. These figures are so impressive that Microsoft refused to reveal sales figures on Xbox One.
