Apple iPhone 7’s release date is confirmedly September 7, marking fall 2016 as the next big event for the tech company. The second-generation Apple Watch will also be launched, but not everyone can join the party because this is an only media-specific ceremony.
Apple has sent invitations to the tech journalists with a welcoming “See you on the 7th.” The invite also contained the schedule according to which the iPhone 7 launch event will 10am PT while Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco is the chosen venue.

The iPhone 7 is will be a direct contender to Samsung’s Galaxy Edge phones and the Note 7. A series of leaked images suggest that the newest smartphone will have an identical body to iPhone S6, while advanced features like dual-lens camera and replacement of headphone jack with USB-C could also be on the menu. Apart from the smartphone and Apple Watch, iOS 10, HomeKit and new Mac series are also expected to be revealed.
